Perfection is the consequence of eternity.Wait long enough and anything  will realize its potential.Coal becomes diamonds,same becomes pearls,apes become man.But its simply not given to us,in one life time,to see those consummations,and so every failure becomes a remainder of death.But love lost is a special kind of failure,i think.Its a remainder that some consummation no matter how devoutly wished for will never come.Some apes will never be men,not in all the worlds ages
